One Smart Cat

A man absolutely hated his wife's cat and decided to get rid of him one day by driving him 20 blocks from his home and leaving him at the park. As he was getting home, the cat was walking up the driveway.
The next day he decided to drive the cat 40 blocks away. He put the beast out and headed home. As he turned into his driveway, there was the cat! He kept taking the cat further and further and the cat would always beat him home.
At last he decided to drive a few miles away, turn right, then left, past the bridge, then right again and another right until he reached what he thought was a safe distance from his home and left the cat there. Hours later the man calls home to his wife: "Jen, is the cat there?"
"Yes," the wife answers, "why do you ask?"
Frustrated, the man says, "Put that darn cat on the phone, I'm lost and need directions!"

Kissing Dogs, by Debbie

According to a new survey of 2,069 people by Harris Interactive, 30 per cent of men and almost half of women -- 49 per cent -- are uncomfortable greeting strangers with a kiss, while 41 per cent of women and 32 per cent of men claim the only people they socially smooch are immediate family members.
Animals prove the exception to any coyness about kissing: Almost half of women and more than a quarter of men admit they go lip to lip -- or, more accurately, lip to snout -- with their pets. (Mostly Dogs)
Dog kisses are powerful. One woman had been blind for ten years, even surgery couldn't fix her problem. But when her beloved guide dog kissed her, poof, her blindness was gone and she was healed.
Another dog kissed his master and saved her life from a deadly bee sting.

Boxer Buddies -- Lori's boys

Bailey, the grand old man, and Jack on his first birthday. Jack's full name is Jack Lambert, named for a Pittsburgh Steelers Hall of Famer. But I think he's just a lamb. Headbonks from Karma.

What It Is

"I'm not one to complain,....but aside from his ability to read, my best buddy and brother (of another mother), has no idea what it takes to run a household.
He lounges around, licking his feet, while I go out into the community and work hard, so he won't have to.
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my brother, and I love my job....but he only THINKS he is the boss.
And that's because I allow it." _Mary

What Joe Thinks

There's nothing we enjoy more, than a leisurely Sunday morning.
Crab treats, warm milk, and the Sunday paper.
I'm Joe,....that's Mary behind me in the window, bearly visable.
I'm the Alpha in this house,....and I'm the only one who can read.

Bat Snack

I caught a bat the other night, yes I did. I tried to bring it to Betsy, but the varmint put up such a fight. There was blood everywhere. Tasty, but not as good as Fancy Feast.
They have teeth, you know? Nasty little sharp ones. It bit my foot, so I let it go. Meowwww-ow-ow. The next night Betsy found it. It bit her, too, when she tried to pick it up in a plastic bag. She didn't know how sharp their teeth are. I tried to warn her.

But she finally got it in a jar and took it to Public Health. Rabies report should be back tomorrow.

HEADBONKS

I'll have my photo up soon, but for now imagine Garfield. Unlike that fat cat, I don't like lasagna. But I do like tomato sauce, especially the kind my CG (caregiver) gets from Aldi's. In my opinion, the cheaper brands are purrrrfect.
I hope to have all my 4-footed and winged and slithery friends come here to voice their views on life, and also to meet new animal friends.
Meow.
